Inspire to Write #powerofsimplechanges #lifeskills A2Z 2018

"Life skills" are defined as, psychosocial abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life by UNICEF.

Another definition from Wikipedia “Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable humans to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life.”

Essentially, Life skills are associated with living a better quality of life and the ability live life to our full potential. It, then, naturally follows that our life skills may be a key factor to our success in life and our ability to achieve our ambitions.

We may learn these skills by a teacher or via life experiences or simple observation, but we need to be apply these mindfully to the situation at hand.

There is no definitive syllabus for learning Life skills. Different skills may be applicable to you depending on your life situation, your values, principles, age, professional background, country, etc. But what matters the most is whether we have access to learning them and if we are willing to learn.

Simple skills or changes that empower us not just in our work life but also in daily, personal, and other trivial matters.

We learn to get and keep things on track, make the best use of time and resources, and achieve our goals. Being skilled in these or having a team member (or a spouse) able to apply these effectively can be helpful. #powerofsimplechanges
